Once a month meetings create a space where owners and managers can have open and honest discussions about what’s working, what isn’t, and what we’re seeing in the markets right now. Burnout is becoming more common, especially after peak seasons or difficult years, and the group provides a place to vent and voice frustrations. Having a trusted group of peers who understand the distinct pressures of the green industry makes a huge difference and reassures us we’re notalone in facing these challenges. The goal of the council is connection and growth;helping each other run stronger, more resilient garden centers.
